Meet Jasmine Mullen and her cousins, twin sisters Lexi and Zandy Fitzgerald and their brother Darius. They never had any intention of performing together and now this Nashville based quartet is on their way to becoming a popular act with their brand of pop, soul and rock ‘n’ roll.

When we discovered this soulful group, we fell in love instantly. We had the privilege of asking them a few questions. See what they had to say!

What was the first album you ever owned on vinyl?

When my uncle passed away, I got his old vinyl collection and the Thriller album was in it! That was gold. -Zandy

What have you been listening to lately?

Bruno Major has bee in my rotation a lot. -Zandy

What is the best live show you’ve seen?

Allen Stone at Live On The Green! His stage presence was so captivating and inviting and he is just a phenomenal singer. -Lexi

Who is the most inspiring person you’ve ever met?

This little girl we met at a show. She could not have been more than 5 and she was dancing our entire set. When I met her she said “when I take my hair down it looks just like yours.” That inspired me to keep doing what we are doing and to be an example of what is possible for people who may not se it all the time.” -Lexi

The most interesting and inspiring person I’ve met is probably my Grams. She has so many fascinating stories about growing up in the South as the daughter of a Sharecropper. She walks everyday in love, grace, power, and forgiveness. -Jasmine

Who is the first artist you remember listening to?

Hard to say. My parents played a lot of music growing up. Probably U2, or Bonnie Raitt. Those two stuck out. -Jasmine

Where is your favorite place in the world?

Wherever the fam and friends are. I’m convinced the right people can make any place the best place. -Darius

What album is on repeat?

There are a few albums that I can run back right after I listen.

  1. Darkness & Light by John Legend. That album got us through many long drives through the middle of no where.

  2. The Switch, Emily King. Groove city and incredible songs.

  3. Thriller, Michael Jackson. He’s the king forever and always.

    -Darius
