Colony House, comprised of brothers Caleb and Will Chapman and guitar player Scott Mills, joined forces in 2009 while still in high school. Named  after their Tennessee apartment complex, the band creates rock 'n' roll with "stripped-down instruments" due to influences like U2 and the Cold War Kids.

Their debut album, When I Was Younger, reached number 3 on Billboard's Heatseekers Albums chart. "Silhouettes," the lead single off of the record, was the most downloaded song on SiriusXM's Alt Nation and appeared on iTunes' Alternative Rock chart.

Paste Magazine has described the record as a "slow burn." But once the listener hits play a few times, "the songs open up and reveal more about themselves. They're authentic, but just like authenticity isn't something instantly seen, these songs hold up well over time and prove themselves again and again.

Since the release of the record, Colony House has toured with Needtobreathe, Ben Rector, Drew Holcomb & The Neighbors, and Switchfoot.
